Stand/ Sit Folding Desk

foldable+desk+render+.png

This Desk is the first of its design, where it can function as both a standing and seated desk. In addition to its functionality, the desk is able to fold flat to the wall to conserve space. The inspiration for this desk comes from the shrinking apartments and houses that dominate today's modern society. While the desk is not designed for everyday use, even though it can be used in that capacity, it's rather designed for individuals who may not have enough space for a desk but would want to have one. Whether it may be for work or just sitting down for a meal, the desk can accommodate all needs. The desk is flat packed and shipped to the buyer and can be set up and operated by a single user.

AEViCS: ADAPTIVE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION

charging-infrastructure-header.jpg.ximg.

I was part of a team project to redesign the parking services for Carleton University from top to bottom. The school is one of the proactive leaders in technological parking systems on campuses across the country, always looking for new developments. My team members are addressing parking navigation, Carleton's parking website, parking services infrastructure, Carleton's parking app, parking payment and I am designing an electric vehicle charger. As a group, we aim to create a smooth and convenient parking experience by embracing and using new technology for end-users covering all aspects around parking on Carleton University campus.
